Quality and effective community planning, which is monitoring and evaluating new social risks and flexibly responding to changes in society, are the main goals of grant project “Community planning of social services Blansko” (registration number CZ.1.04/3.1.03/78.00036). The implementer of the project is Město Blansko (Town of Blansko). It is a two-year project, implementation of the project begins 1st April 2012 and ends 31st March 2014.

The project, which has been approved by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Town of Blansko will receive for support of social services planning  the amount of  CZK 2,638,777.52 from Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment. This project is financed from ESF through OPHRE and from national budget of the Czech Republic.

The project is focused on embedding of process of community planning in Region Blanensko. The goal is to create Center for supporting community planning, which will among other things support communication between providers, users, submitters and public. Center will operate under the Department of Social Affairs of the Blansko Municipality.

An interactive information system for needs of social services with usage of spatial analyses will be created, which will support the whole planning process and allow the interactive evaluation of changes in the area.

The key inovative element of submitted project consists in the partnership of applicant – Town of Blansko and the partner of the project, which is ACCENDO – Center for  Science and Research, o.p.s.

Under assistance and methodical leading from the partner, analysis of new social risks in the Blanensko Region will be performed.

Promoted project struggles to create an open concept, in which it will be possible to add more data and thus work through it as in depth as well as breadth. The idea is to involve all stakeholders, community planning, professionals, residents in thinking and shaping the future of the village and the region.
